Hi I'm Nicola!
Hi, I’m Nicola, founder of The Empowerment Pursuit—and I'm passionate about helping ambitious professionals navigate the challenges of relocation while designing lives filled with freedom, flexibility, and adventure.
After moving from the UK to Vancouver in 2017, I experienced firsthand how isolating it can be to rebuild your life in a new place. For years, I struggled to find a stable community, and that journey inspired me to create a supportive network for others facing similar struggles.
Founded in 2023, The Empowerment Pursuit empowers professionals, expats, outdoor enthusiasts, and overachievers reconnect with their values, build unshakable confidence, and turn their dream lives into actionable plans.
My coaching and mentoring style is inspiring, empowering, and fun, blending mindset work with strategic guidance to help you overcome obstacles and step boldly into your next chapter.

I know firsthand how overwhelming relocating to a new city can be. The feelings of isolation, anxiety, and burnout often creep in as you juggle work and life, all while trying to establish new connections. I’ve felt the weight of expectations to excel at my job while also searching for deep friendships, which can lead to a sense of inadequacy and exhaustion. That's why I created The Empowerment Pursuit—to provide a safe space where you can openly share your experiences and emotions. I want you to know that you are not alone in this journey, and I’m here to empower you to rediscover your strength and purpose.
