Beautiful Yukon where I spent 3 weeks on a road trip hiking and camping and I was lucky enough to see seeing countless bears, a moose and even a short glimpse of the Northern Lights!

Real-Life Examples:

  • Delegate household chores, like hiring a cleaner or sharing responsibilities with a partner, family or friends.

  • Use batching techniques, such as meal prepping or running errands in one trip, to free up hours each week.

  • Limit distractions by setting boundaries around social media use or unsubscribing from unnecessary emails.



2. Energy: Reducing Drains and Replenishing Yourself


We often underestimate the toll that energy-draining tasks and environments take on us. To unlock momentum, evaluate what’s zapping your energy and find ways to reduce or eliminate it.

  • Plan your meals for the week or use a meal delivery service to save time and decision-making energy.

  • Use a digital task manager to organize priorities instead of juggling multiple sticky notes or paper lists.

  • Automate recurring financial tasks like bill payments or savings transfers to reduce stress.



4. Flexibility: Creating More Fluidity in Your Life


Feeling stuck often comes from rigid schedules or systems. Look for ways to add more flexibility to your lifestyle.

  • Ask your employer about remote or hybrid work options to cut down on commuting time.

  • Understand the environment needed for specific tasks e.g. can you fold laundry whilst catching up on your favourite TV program or listening to a podcast. 

  • Do you absolutely need to be tied to a desk for all tasks or can you start getting creative in when and on what platform. Can you bring a laptop and work remotely from the cafe or do a specific task on the bus whilst commuting to free up more time.

You don’t need a grand plan or perfect timing to make meaningful changes in your life. By focusing on small shifts, you create space for transformation to begin—without the pressure of overhauling everything at once.
